Roland the synth company which also owns boss guitar pedals just acquired DW drums and all in the DW umbrella which includes LP(latin Percussion), PDP and Gretch drums....

Was gonna say it seems a bit of a weird fit. But makes a lot more sense considering the vdrum angle.
