roland cube 15 watt amp how to take out the noise?

ok so i went by my local giutar shop and played this little baby and i love it. the only thing i didn't like with this thing was the hum and noise. if you cranked it up you got a lot of noise. especially if you turned up the tone knob to get distortion. i was looking for a recording amp and it came close...just need to take out the hum and noise. does anyone know how i can do this. it's solid state, and i'm thinking it has to do with the power supply but i don't know.

Take it apart, reverse-engineer the design, re-design it to your specs, do the modifications.....

Sometimes it makes sense to look for something else.
