yeah, it's me. email activation would not work. something about a little bribe money,

i guess the new guys saw me as a security risk,

anybody ever dig into the problematic Juno synth wave shaper modules?

there is a clone built by Analog Renaissance

http://www.analoguerenaissance.com/D5534A/
but it would be nice to have the schematic to maybe fool around with a DIY clone,

here is what i got so far, been trying to reverse it from pics of a clone on evilbay,

thanks for any help and good to be back!

values in red are speculation.106 - a.JPG

Good to see you CJ , we thought you were lost forever , welcome back .

I did work on a Juno before , I think it was one of the oscillators I replaced with a modern reproduction near equivalent as far as memory serves me , didnt quite sound the same as the original but definately made a usable instrument out of it .

User and service manual can be found here ,

chips ahoy! original modules IC 4,8 12 do not respond to acetone soak for removing conductive material like the VCO's do.

just measured the surface mount caps at 320 pf.

Cripes surface mount components back in the early 80's , that was some cutting edge shit back then ,
I think I ordered the replacement voice board from Analog rennaisance , worked out ok .
Still though you might be able to make your own up too ,

Hey CJ, I reverse engineered one last year. It's built and verified.

Holy Cow what are the odds on that! Thanks Volker! I had that 121K at 0 ohms because the SMD part was hard to read, did not know if it was 060 or 090 or 09D etc

did not know why they would use a 1% resistor at that point.
