This is a Ross Martin Audio Superbeast DAC. It sounded great when it was working. I've had it sitting on my shelf for years. It developed low-level noise out of either the left or right channel. I had planned to replace the converter chips, but ended up just getting another DAC. Nothing was removed or desoldered, except two 'heat sinks' which were really just pieces of aluminum hot glued on the chip. They are included. One of the main PCB boards needs screwed back in the chassis (with standoffs). I don't have those screws or standoffs, or the screws for the lid case. If I come across them, I'll update the listing. But I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find screws and standoffs.

$100 shipped.
