Schematic for Neve 638 and 640 amp

Hi,

Looking for a schematic for the Neve 638 and 640 amps. Yeah, I know their isn't much to them and they are chip based.

Check th AMS-Neve 33609 manual for the BA640! Think I have the 638 somewhere. I'll check at the workshop tomorrow

Sorry, BA640 is in the 88R compressor manual, can't find the BA638, will make a drawing when I find time, lot to do right now before the Frankfurt Musik Messe.

IMO The 640 is pretty much just like a JLM hybrid (or vice versa). an IC opamp with class AB output buffer. IIRC 5534 then a BC441-6 / BC461-6 push-pull output stage. there is a bootstrapped constant current source pulling current from the opamp output, thru the diode string. Ive got the schematic if nobody else coughs it up for you. not sure what a 638 is. does that have a class-A output buffer? where in PA are you?
