Searching DOA for Drums recording

I'm searching a kind of DOA for drums recording,....I want something how can run on Apish board ,I've build 2520 and 1731 they works nice,but I've trying to find a DOA with very impresive low.... :green: It didnt' matter with the High.I've build Apish board,with LL1538XL on front and sowter 9825 on end that's run on +18v/-18v ,the 1731 is very clear and interesting in mid and have a beautiful high,the 2520 is not so clear in high but have more low,I really like thoses DOA ,(at first the 1731),But I'm searching a DOA ,witch can sound louder :green: :green: than 2520,may by mods on 2520,well at this time if someone has got idea .... : :guinness: :thumb:

i really like my JLM99v opamps, perhaps give these a try - nice bass in my

APE-ISH preamps :grin:

OR one of TK's bloaks - everyone should try one (including me! top of the long list...)
