SM69 repair

Can someone tell me how to get the head open on this bastard? I've got an intermittant wire that's driving me nuts, and I can't for the life of me figure out how to seperate the capsules.

I would imagine just a couple of screws to seperate the two but I am probably wrong...

See that small, round black plastic piece on the front of the grill between the two capsules? Carefully pry it out of the grill. Beneath is a retaining clip mounted radially in a channel around the grill. There is another one 180 degrees opposite. Find a suitable poker (very small flatblade screwdriver, etc) that will fit in the hole - be careful not to scratch the grill, or distort the metal around the hole. Push inward on the clip - when it is bottomed out, carefully pull up on the top grill and let it tip back. Remove your poking device once the grill is clear of the spring clip. Watch that front diaphragm and make sure the clips don't spring out and disappear under your bench.
Installation is reverse of removal. Don't hurry.
