I put on sale this custom 16-channel SSL 4000 adder designed by Marco de Sevilla, MAR Audio (NadMk).
All the plates and components have been matched by hand for a perfect balance in the two channels.
Very high quality components, all in Vishay, Nichicon Fine Gold, Panasonic FC, Wima, etc.
For each input channel, mount a filtering capacitor to have an audio signal clean of anomalies (I have not seen this in any adder on the market). In the sum resistors of the SSL 4000 board, mount some vintage Siemens wirewound resistors (very rare and highly accurate for audio). The summation modulus is just that, the summation modulus, it is not a preliminary to do the makeup as with the typical passive adders.
Oversized electrolytic capacitors on all plates to boost source voltage and increase headroom.
You have the possibility to add a vumeter to L&R to view the Master. Summing plates can be controlled with a single dual pot or with two individual ones by microstep. A passive output can be added directly from the Stems plates. With which you would have two Master outputs.
It includes its own specific and oversized source, with its toroidal transformer.
