hi! i am looking for documentation on the soundtech panoramic boards.. schematics, etc.. these have proven very difficult to source, i've resorted to asking john oram ;)

soundtech doesn't have them anymore.

anyone?

cheers.

I used to work for Oram, they have copies of the input module schematics but I don't think they have anything for the master section. They should sort you out, tell them Nick Mann sent you if they don't!

What troubles are you having? I might be able to help you out

Cheers

hey! thanks. i actually got an email from oram after an inquiry with them, he said they 'didn't have what i was looking for'..

so, i am not repairing the board myself, but if you are willing i could send a contact your way? maybe PM me a good email address?

the board is mostly just needing cleaning, however six channel are behaving poorly, one likely need a fader replaced (loose/no effect) and the others have varying degrees of sticky/non-responsive buttons, or major volume fluctuations when you press on the surrounding surface (probably need replacing??)

i appreciate the offer of help. i just sold the board as a project to someone, i will encourage them to sign up and chime in here..

cheers.

No problem!

The faders are cheap, pretty readily available too.

The rest of the problems sound like some of the joints have gone a bit dry and need resoldering. Check the jacks, xlrs, pots, switches. Resolder them all. Could be the insert jack too, stick a jack in there and pull it in and out a few times.

Those channel strips are pretty simple, not a lot too them. The one in attached pic has been robbed for spares, but you get the idea!
