Soyuz 1973 capsule resonator

Pic of the inside of the new Soyuz 1973 mic. Have any of you seen a resonator like that on a capsule before?

Do I even see a mini transformer behind the red/green/black wires?
(There is not very much inside for $799...)

That little red thing is a pad switch. You're right. There really isn't a whole lot going on inside this mic at all for $799. And it only comes with a skinny little stand holder so if you want a decent shockmount like a Rycote, tack on another $79, so with sales tax/VAT etc, you're starting to talk about more like $950 US.

I'd like to see some explanation from them as to what they say this resonator does, and am I wrong in thinking this probably makes it hypercardioid as well?

I have no idea what exactly the resonator does, but i'm sure you get a funky hf response. I'm kinda worried about the off axis response. I'm too lazy to 3d print something similar, but i might do it eventually.

Oktava 319 capsule uses plastic disk resonators (bakelite?) to push HF response. It gets darker without them, but in my personal opinion it sounds smoother there too.
I wonder what kind of backplate are they using on this one? Would be interesting to see.

Could be. I think I see a pair of SMD electrolytic capacitors.

Soyuz says it's the same capsule used in their Bomblet. Triple backplate based upon the 19A19 LOMO.

Yup, nothing really in common with k67, way different sound.

They're 100% completely hand made in house. Almost a deal when you think of them that way and the level of skill needed to do that. Their factory videos blew my mind.
