Hey all, I was wondering what the specs were on 51x and 500 series cards. I was inspired by Peter Purpose's thread that people are following to build a 500 series LA3A. 500 series DIY gear is becoming more appealing to me now that I am crammed for space and own an API 500 rack. Here are a few more specific questions to help you help me if you should feel inclined. Thanks in advance for any information.

How many pins are in 500 format cards?

How many pins are in 51 format cards?

What are all of the pins doing in 500 format cards?

what are all of the pins doing in 51x form cards?

How wide are the pins and how far apart are they spaced?

Exactly what size are the front panels?

Do people make pre made chassis for 500 series and 51x series cards?

Do you have any advice on designing 500 series gear from already existing schematics? ( I can get through replicated circuits in a 19' chassis, 500 series is a whole new game to me )

Are tubes okay in 500 series gear?

How do you make these style card pins in PCB artist?

These long gimme question lists are killing the forum....

Yes that's true.
Each time you stumble on some new things or questions you ask yourself, try to always do some search for it,
maybe after all that search you'll even find things that are not mentionned, and that's the point.
It's not that one don't want to help and answer, but sometimes answering right away isn't helping  ;)
