it seems, srpp stage gives 18-20db of gain... as i read from some old pages.
would this mod below work as line driver for some tube color in summing mixer line input modules....
also, what srpp stands for?
Update and news : i have finally managed a stereo version of srpp circuit on soldered bredboard ( its called something else, i dont know the exact name of it) . i didnt even have a spare tube socket, so i had to solder the wires on second tube ;D
as i have no patience for bloody tube sockets to arrive in 10 days time to hear them in stereo
some mods...
i have first used Cinemag tranies on the output
God, it Rocks...
placed a trim pot on the output resistor, as 2k2 is too much... i need to find the best fixed value...
2k2 is cutting some top end, and narrowing the stereo image...
this is my first tube diy... and worked very nicely... its all on my bench, in a kind of messy way...
thank you
kam
EDIT : i realize i have been asking a lot lately re tube line amp stages... but will be over soon
this design seems very simple to diy and make small print PCB's with tranies on it,
