just got
samsung 860 EVO. sata3 internal SSD.
OMG its blazing fast compared to sata3 HD!
i had couple very slow loading VST sample libraries.
just tested one,

sata3 HD    115sec
sata3 SSD    17 sec


cant imagine the load speed on M.2. PCIE

Once you go M.2 PCIE you'll never use a rotational HDD again, except for long-term backup duties.

Yeah i know the difference was not subtle by any means. I can have 192k of ram but that is overkill but with 24 gigs of ram and 3 ssd drives (1 hdd for back up) its blazing fast.
