Tried to send SSL Tech a PM but his box is full. Hopefully he will see this and give some advice.
I have 6 modules (2 eq's 2pres and 2 compressors) that a client wants racked. I have the ribbon cables and backplanes (are these the same as the "motherboards"?) There were some canare cable connected to some of the pins that look like they were supposed to go to XLR or TRS connectors (cut off on one end). I've been reading up on it and I see SSLtech has posted on a couple of forums regarding a similar set up he has done. I ordered the JLM kraftwerk kit to use as a PS for this, hopefully that will suffice. It has the 2 18v (+/-) rails and the 24-25v rails (ive seen people reference both voltages... not sure which is proper) and the +48v as well. The amperage looks adequate for the project as well. My questions are regarding operation and some of the pinouts on the cards themselves and if there is a "cheat sheet" for them that i might be able to take a look at. Thanks
