The original knobs are standard Sifam types, and the push-switches are the swiss EAO brand..

I went with Re-an collets for the knobs. They don't feel as good as the sifams but they are easier to score in the u.s. (mouser.com). I have a bunch for 1/4" and 1/8" shafts - do you need five?

Knobs:

Caps:

I ended up using chicken heads on the lorlin switches because they're not really easy (for me) to turn with the 1/2" Re-an knobs.

Nope.

I modified a flathead screwdriver for the sifams and I use needle nose pliers for the Re-an knobs. The tools are a rip off unless your dealing with 5 billon knobs...like some techs around here...
