ssl9k inductors and sound of the preamp

What inductors would you guys use for L1 and L2 of the ssl9k preamp. Can anyone compare the sound of this preamp to any other preamps?

I just used inductors from digikey. So far so good. I haven't plugged a mic into it yet (I just completed stuffing my board) but after running tones through it, it might be a little more interesting than I was 1st thinking. There's a TON of gain avaiable from this amp and clean too. I found a slight rise in upper mid range which I believe might add a bit of character. Of course, I'm going to bastardise my pre's by using an output circuit to balance with transformers... :green:

The pumpkins come from Neve stuff. They're used all over the place. Very good transformers.
