I'm new to modding mics. I just acquired a Studio Projects C1 yesterday with the intention of putting in the circuit mod for it from micparts. I opened it up and took a few pics to ensure that it had not already been modded before ordering the kit. It looks undisturbed to me. The exterior screws showed no sign of tampering. Only thing, the capsule looks like some vocalist tried to eat it and left residue? Ought that to be left untouched? Thanks!

You can add a Low Pass Filter (LPF) search this forum
The capsule is OK with a LPF
Something to think about is the C1 capsule grill environment if it is still built like the early ones. I have an early C1.
Search for the VM1 mod for a hint
