Alright, so this is my first time at doing a stepped attenuator for Peter's Green pre. Pardon me if some of these questions are stupid, but I have a knack for understanding complicated idea, yet not grasping easy topics.
1: I want the highest resistor on the starting end right? More gain = less reduction = less resistance?
2: So input goes to the 1R5 which then goes to pin 12? Then 2R goes pin 12 to 11, and so on? Output is common? (That's what it kinda of looks like on Kev's page, but it's not clear enough to really tell for sure, and i just wanted to make sure I was correct before going through the trouble of soldering).
Thanx guys,
Daniel
