Hi all,
I would like to make a simple stereo to mono cable for the DN60 analyzer using a balanced resistor mix network:

L + ---------R----------|
L -  ---------R-------|   |
                           |   |
R + ---------R-------|--o---------R-------- DN60 input +
R -  ---------R-------o------------R-------- DN60 input -

Referring to the manual the DN60 has a "differential input for balanced and unbalance connection " and "input impedance of 47K ohms, nominal unbalanced connection".
I would like to use it with consolle and daw output, which impedance do you suggest for the mix network?

Thank you

Console and DAW outputs can drive less than 1K load. This DN60 should "see" much less than 47K.

You do not want extra resistors between the summing ("o") points and this DN60.

For unbalanced: Each channel should have say 2K to 10K mix resistor. For balanced, two 1K to 5K. I'd grab a 4-pack of 4K7, or 3K3 or 2K2 if they were handier.

Code:
L + ---------4K7----------|
L - ---------4K7-------|  |
                       |  |
R + ---------4K7-------|--o------------ DN60 input +
R - ---------4K7-------o--------------- DN60 input -

Like this?

L + ---------4k7----------|
L -  ---------4k7-------|  |
                                |  |
R + ---------4k7-------|--o----------------- DN60 input +
R -  ---------4k7-------o-------------------- DN60 input -

Thank you
