so i have this second hand switchcraft 9625 patchbay... pretty new looking! well cleaned :)
only thing with switchcraft, if u patch something in the middle area, whole front frame is bending
is this normal ? pretty flimsy if its....  ???

edit: took it out of the rack.... damn... this is a cheap design! they couldnt afford  to place a lip and screw to hold the unit
together,,,, but no! let it bend :)))

i am enjoying having a patchbay for now!
good thing i made hosa cables work, 12 snakes cost a lot, if u go mogami even for 9' lengths!

i have some drilling plans for this sh*^y design  tho ;D
i dont like this bend at all.... its even making clunking noise depends on which jack i am pulling/pushing  ;D ;D ;D ;D

The TT patch cables you use can make a big difference.  I had cheaper ones to start,  required a lot of force to remove,  panel bent a lot.  But with the more standard mogami ones it's much smoother,  not much deflection  of the panel.

It's a pricey patchbay,  if you really don't like it I would say sell / trade and get something else.

i like the unit... just the bend,,,,
also, i got cheapo patch cables... might as well try quality ones!
