I get around this one and maybe someone is able to give some informations on them. I have no Idea what they orginaly were used for. But as one can see they provide some gain for the user.
Well, can anyone imagine a situation asking for extra gain?

Always impresses me how many different V372´s are around. Shematic of cause would be great, but maybe hard to find. Actually it doesn not look that complex on the first view. I am woudnering if there will be another trany behind this metal shielding in the middle? I could not find any marks on it. Maybe I am the one to find out.....

looks like a "Postübergabeverstärker". (and looks like made from Siemens)
I assume the metal shielding in the middle is the trany for the +15dBm out.

so it´s 3 tranny´s :?:
Any thoughts about what kind of special work a "Postübergabeverstärker" is doing compared to a non "Postübergabe"- amplifier? I am just curious. Should have very low output impedance to drive long lines, isn´t it?
So I could install a line to my friends studio next village :green:
Would be great fun, but anyhow the cable will cost a bit of money.

I start thinking this will be laying around on my bench for a very long time and I will have no time for this one.
Maybe someone is having a special interest on these. I have two, so it would be a stereo pair. I am willing to trade it.
I did not find a schematic, but it looks easy to trace.
