Talkback Footswitches

I want to make some talkback foot switches for a studio I'm working at. Can anyone make a part recommendation?

That would depend on the talkback unit you want to control... but it will probably wind up being a momentary switch controlling a DC voltage to switch a relay wired in parallel to the talkback switch

Here's my chain idea. Mic->TB footswitch->Mic pre. No relays, just a simple momentary on off pedal, not much different than a sustain pedal for a keyboard.

  These footswitches are for use by musicians in different tracking spaces. Would something like this work?

These are intended for direct motor control, with 15Amp contacts; not good for your application. My recommandation is use of a temporary NC pedal wired in parallels with the signal.
