o.k. so this past month at our brain trust meeting we had one of the designers of Jensen transformers in talking about transformers. It was super informative.  I am going to ask to see if I can share his power point stuff. Way cool
 
Man that would be great!

I was reading an article about the A-12 recently and thought it was fascinating how many options there are... and confusing.... That's my next obsession is gathering up some stuff to learn about these input and output transformers.....

I've also started watching Dennis Carter's Transformer theory videos.... I like his style....It's amazing how helpful that guy is.... Pretty solid info he tries to teach...

having been around the block once or twice on transformers, I often tell people "there is a lot of science going on in those little cans"
It's amazing how much material and Ω as a source or load(depending which way you are going  can impact the frequency response.

makes we want to have an output transformer rolled that has a mix of lam materials alternating from one to the other for the number of required lams and see how it do.
