Is it a good idea to match the tubes in a stereo unit?

For those who want a more vintage flavor from the D-AOC try a 5965 in place of the 12AT7 which is what I have in mine. It will make a thin sounding mic come to life especially when recording vocals.

hahaha, that´s what I use in my prefered preamp design. 5965s sounds FAT (really, I hate to say it, but that´s actually the case here)! Don´t ask me why...

Interelectrode capacitance....my son. Which in this case in twice that of a 12AT7.
