Good point. Worth repeating

Extruded cases with front and rear customisable cases are OK for many projects and there are lots to choose from, but if you want a top surface and rear surface to both be customised, there seem to be no real off the shelf choices at all (unless you know otherwise ).

Edit: One thing that did occur to me was that it should be possible to make a 3D model of a plastic box which has a top and rear cut out which could be fitted with aluminium panels. The box could be made any convenient size and printed at home on a 3D printer and the panels customised like any other front panel. But I have no idea if such a home made plastic box is feasible.
