Hi all
This weekend, the drivers for my Dave P's DIY Aurotones (http://www.groupdiy.com/index.php?topic=43086.0 will arrive. I am thinking about a pair of monitors to complement them. Because I work on the dinner table in the living room, I have good reasons to keep my set up nice and tidy. A pair of satellites placed on the Aurotones with a subwoofer under the table would therefore be preferable to me.
I have a bit of experience with building / configuring a set like that: For my home cinema system I use a pair of Anthony Gallo Nucleus Micro's (http://www.anthonygallo.co.uk/pages/products-speakers-micro.php powered by DIY chipamp (http://www.audiosector.com/lm3875.shtml. The subwoofer is a 8" Dayton Audio RSS210HF (http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=295-456) with a modified plate amp in a "build in" 9 liter closed cabinet. Sounds fine for its purpose.
Do people here have experience with building a set like that (also the satellites) for monitoring duties?

Cheers

Erik
