Transformer re-dip

Does anyone here on the forum dip transformers? (Re-shellac). I would love to throw some $ at someone that might be able to do this for me. I have an old GK-800RB amp whose transformer could wake the dead. Another forum suggested redipping it to fill any gaps that may have formed which is “probably” the cause of the hum.

I do it all the time. I have transformer varnish and use it to dip transformers I wind or old transformers that suffer from mechanical vibration noise.

As you are in the US best is to talk to CJ, he does dipping, he even published in a thread here pics of his dipping setup
