I'm building the Mojo Maestro and I want to add a transformer to the input. Ethan suggests the Triad TY-250P in this article:
https://audioxpress.com/article/you-can-diy-build-the-mojo-maestro

The problem is that it is out of stock pretty much everywhere, so I'm looking for an equivalent transformer I could use for this project. Here is the datasheet:

Any suggestions?

Hey andow,

how about this one:
https://de.rs-online.com/web/p/audio-transformatoren/2106431/

2 windings on each side.

FWIW Mouser has them back in stock in the USA:

https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Triad-Magnetics/TY-250P/?qs=%2Fha2pyFadujFIqYtJ%252BiCrdvgf4KCZa3KRtC6BJSIA0o%3D

Dunno about anywhere else in the world....

These would have been my second choice!  ;)

Great, thanks for the info!

One comment about Triad. I got a bad power transformer from them in my GSSL kit, and I called their head offices and they wouldn't help me. They said unless I could show them a PO# from the vendor who originally ordered it they couldn't honor that it came through proper channels or something. This was after I sent them photos of the unit, and they agreed it was one of theirs. I emailed the person I got the kit through and told them what they told me, but I never heard back.

But either way, once they agreed it was one of theirs, there should have been no issue with the replacement. I won't be doing business with them again.

That's just really crappy customer service.

Hi andow! This is Dave and its my first Post here. Noob is my middle Name. Managed to get yusynth modular projects to work, so i know how to hold a solering iron, but thats it. I'm also building the mojo maestro, and i have a ty-270. Now, how would i hook it up? I mean can you tell me how to connect it in the mojo circuit? And is it possible to throw in a switch to get it in and out of the signal chain? Thanks in Advance! D.
