Trident CB9054 B-Range Limiter - Schematics?

I have a pair of Trident limiter/compressor modules in for racking. I'm searching for more information about them – possibly schematics or a calibration procedure.

From what I understand, these modules are fairly rare and possibly made by Audio & Design Recording. The PCBs are labeled 9054A (upper) and 9054B (lower). The power supply is +48 volts. Q1 is a 2N5458 (jfet) and the small-signal BJTs are BC413 / BC415 complimentary types. The six opamps are 741 types.

The modules seem to be working okay, but the calibration seems off – especially when linked. The GR meters respond differently when the same test signal is applied to one side or the other.

These units came with an external linking switch that connects pin 20 on both units. The internal "mono/couple" switch is inoperative, but I can see this switch directly connects to pins 16, 17, and 18 (making continuity with the upper PCB when in "couple" mode). There are three 5k trimpots on the PCB for these corresponding signals as well.

From what I can tell, the "in/bypass" switch works, but only audibly. The meters still show GR when in bypass mode. Maybe this is normal? I'd love to re-wire these switches so that the bypass would disable GR. This would be especially helpful for calibration.

The image above is a pinout for these modules. It seems the power supply is notated incorrectly. The pair I have are using +48v (rather than +24v / -24v). I assume the original PSU might have been closer to +45v as this is a standard voltage for A-Range equipment. I'm still unsure about how pins 16, 17, and 18 should be implemented with the "couple" switches.

I'd still love to find a schematic or calibration info for these units. Are there any folks out there familiar with the Trident B-Range consoles?

Here's an image of the Trident B-Range console from PDU Milan (a university in Milan, Italy). From what I understand, this was one of the first B-Range consoles ever built. It’s possible these limiters came from this desk.
 
Hello. I've been lusting after these forever, and no with the clear pictures I can tell these are simply a CB9146 compressor in a console module instead of 1RU. I have an original manual for these if you don't have the internet CB9146 digital copies. This includes the calibration info which I'm assuming is identical.

The main difference appears to be a switch for attack instead of a pot, and no ratio control. I'd be very interested to know what the ratio ends up being!

Upon closer inspection of the board, this differs a bit, and uses more discrete components like the RCA 40361, as used in the A and B Range. It also has a voltage regulator onboard like those. Definitely designed by Barry Porter. The 4 knob version of this was the ADR version.
 
Audio+Design was an independent company.  In addition to their own line of products, they made OEM modules for Helios, Trident and maybe others.

I don't recall all of the facts, but Audio+Design sold several of their processors in what they called a "N" module format that had a "red ribbon" (McMurdo (spelling?) connector on the back side.  Somewhere I heard that "N" meant Neve, but I don't recall ever seeing a Neve desk using that form factor.  I have several scans of A+D "N" module brochures and some pics of a rack of six 760 Compex modules in a studio install.


 
There's a limiter that looks just like this, but with 4 knobs instead, that ADR made for Trident. Board number 9064 I believe.

If I had this in my hands I could make a schematic. Too bad you're across the country! Maybe if you take a really good shot of the back of the PCB I could make one from that.
 
This has all been hashed around before.  Short answer is that there is a 9054 (Trident), a 9064 (ADR), and a 9146 (Trident) that are all different.  Schematics/cal for the 9146 are around but the 9054 and 9064 have yet to be seen.

kpearsall: Thanks for offering to help with the schematic! I'm totally willing to send you good pics of the PCBs and help with a BOM.  I think this module would make for an interesting DIY project!

I'll need to get the "okay" from the owner (these modules are not mine), but I think he will approve – especially if we can cobble together a schematic and calibration procedure.
 
Sounds good. Make it happen and I’ll give you a schematic. I’d love to build a replica to install in my rack with the pair of B-Range modules I have.  Won’t take long to do the schematic. A few days when I have the time

Exciting!  A client of mine has a pair of these but I don't know offhand if they are 9054s or 64s.  Might have to pay him a visit.

Also, I went back and re-read the first link earthsled mentioned and it covers all the Trident/ADR stuff
 
Could you measure the chassis size for me? I have a feeling these are the same size as the relay modules, which means I already have the connectors and the chassis for 3 or four
