tube cans/screening

ive always like the look of those nice aluminum screening cans ued on ham radio kit. But would there be any benefit in using them with the standard dual triodes in guitar amps?

Most guitar amps are equiped with screening cans on the preamp tubes ,
Steel might be better than aluminium ,
Ocassionally you find mu-metal close fitting screens on preamp tubes with a braided ground wire ,
Tandberg tape machines have these .

I have encountered guitar amps that osscillate at high gain settings without the shields in place .

I bought a set for my dual Orange 86, but now with some neat tubes, I can’t see wanting to cover them without an engineering reason.
