EDIT: I just recalled that Ampex was also involved with Turbo Encabulator development. The attachment was given to me when I was undergoing training at the Ampex factory circa 1979.

Does it have a flux capacitor?

There is quite a bit of confusion re. the two versions of the Encabulator (Retro and Turbo). Some sources say a flux capacitor was included in one version or the other.....perhaps both.

Some additional research indicates that the rare element Technobabblium (found in Atlantis) was a key element in the design.
