Turn Door knobs into Potentiometer Knobs

Hi Friends.

Anyone have any ideas for how to convert small Door knobs into usable knobs for potentiometers with 6mm shaft hole size?

Anyone know where to buy the inner "metal shell" that grips the pot shaft that resides inside the Knobs?

Anyone tried doing something similar before?
