U73b and Varicom

Does anyone have experience with U73bs in combination with a Varicom unit? I wonder how the U73b needs to be set up in order to work as intended with the Varicom. The only documentation I could find does refer to the older U73 which does not have the different release rates like the U73b.

Also what kind of meter can be used? So far I only found the name of the original meter, but no specs...

I recently added a Varicom to my rack of U73b's and I am trying to understand the interaction of the units.  I wired it according to the diagram from U73b / Varicom download from Kubarth which just shows the external connections.
Does anyone have a schematic for the Varicom? I would like to check that it is to spec but don't see a schematic for it anywhere.

Also, over the years I have collected three U73b's and one U73S (yes, U73 "S").  I have seen referral to a V76S which is the studio version with the filters removed.  I am curious if anyone else has seen one of these and has any info on it.
