Pretty interesting.

During hurricane Irma I was trying to power my security camera system with a generator to be able to make sure I'd have some footage if someone came and stole the generator that was on my front porch.....

The camera system quit working in some capacities after about 20 mins..,,,And I still need to address why some functions aren't working...... I wonder if this is because of the dirty power the article mentions.....

Although, my UPS wasn't connected as mine died a while ago and I've just been running it hoping for no power outages....

So, generators aren't recommended for certain things I'm guessing??? Sorry if this sounds dumb but I'm not experienced enough to know why this is the case aside from some basic understanding.....
