Hi, I received a beaten up V72 preamp with a faulty choke (there's no continuity between the two sides of the coil) and a broken and disassembled input transformer (I have all the core parts and the outer shielding frame, the plastic bobbin is broken and I received it without the coil).
I would like to restore the choke and the input transformer.
Do you have any recommendations for a place that can rewinding the transformers and have experience with old Telefunken preamps?
PS
I've checked the DC resistance on the output transformer ant it measured 960 Ohm on one side and 12.1 Ohm on the other side. Does it the right values for the V72 output transformer?

If you look at the V72 docs I posted in the Technical Documents section (https://groupdiy.com/index.php?topic=45156.msg942656#msg942656) you will see I measured around 1k for the primary and 10 ohms for the secondary, so your output transformer is fine.

Thank you very much!

The late Oliver Archut would've been your guy. His company, AMI (Atelier Magnetics, Inc) is still operating, but I'm not sure whether they offer rewinding services, nor do I know who's currently running the operation. Maybe someone else knows?

Maybe it would be worth reaching out to James Gangwer?
