I'm selling a number of my 500 series preamps to pay for parts to complete a custom multi channel preamp project for my studio. These are all in perfect working order and I just used them on a tracking sessions a couple of weeks ago. I really like these preamps and the only reason I am selling is that I want to simplify the preamp selection and I have been focusing all of my custom work around a particular circuit which gives me consistent, exceptional sounding results. So the desire to have every flavor available is less appealing to me now as I transition back to producing and engineering. Also of note, some of these preamps are out of stock as kits and have been for a very long time. Prices include shipping to lower 48 states. Add 2.9% for PayPal.
1x CAPI VP25 - $315 - each - Ed Anderson in and out transformers, CAPI-0252 op amp installed. Includes extra gar1731
1x PPA MA1 - $350 - each - these are fitted with Lundahl input and Cinemag output transformers. Stepped gain control trim output control added. DI switch has been repurposed as a HPF
1x Audiox Studer 169 Preamp/EQ - $315 - same as above but with garOA10 op amps and -15dB pad. Also includes two extra Audiox OA10 op amps.
