hey people
I will finish my power supply for my BA-71 mic pre's tonight.
These units have not been fired up in a long time.
I think this unit uses oil caps
....sprague ...metal with an amber/clear plastic material

Is there anything i should do before I apply the -30/+30 volt power supply to these?(capacitors?)

Those are just electrolytics I believe. They may have begun to unform but will probably recover in time, unless they have begun to dry out.

Paper/foil/oil caps will have much lower capacitance for the same volume.
