Was there a VM2 by Gefell?

It’s a Microtech Gefell M92.1 body with a Gefell M7 capsule. Strange that Klaus used this as a platform for his prototype but maybe he just had it at hand and found it useful enough...
I haven’t heard about a collaboration between Gefell/Brauner/Heyne, but then there was some information exchange between Gefell and Oliver Archut.
