I'm interested in many types of spares, especially considering I don't know what will work and what won't on the thing, but here's a list of what I'd mostly like to try to find as I rebuild it:
(last updated 12/13/24) MISSING MODULES / PARTS I AM ACTIVELY LOOKING FOR:
- Any and all input modules. Clearly this is the big one. I have some SIM stereo line cards (not pictured — transformerless stereo line amps) but that’s it. Ideally any 110-IME (input module with EQ), 110-IM (just preamp, no EQ)... any of the respective A or B revisions.
- Faders — looking for at least one. unsure of the condition of these. The F1/F1R/F1Q or F2/F2R/F2Q model faders fit this console (P&G 1120 and 1122, 5K log)
- P&G 16mm wide fader caps/knobs -- the model is PG16 by Penny & Giles. Ideally looking for a 3x white and 1x red, but I'll take what I can get. They are very expensive from Canford and they won't ship to the USA unless you spend a bunch of money. Huge ridiculous and maybe impossible ask, but missing fader caps/knobs labeled # 1, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16. Or unlabeled is fine lol.
- maybe a meter or two (Weston 7532, not Modutec or Beede) -- not sure if I want or need the digital clocks lol
Also looking for (mostly later 1970s or early 1980s) missing service docs for the Grandson specifically this 110B. I have *almost* everything (see our Tech Docs forum) but still looking for:
- 110D-IME input module with EQ schematics (I have the schematic for 110D-IM WITHOUT EQ)
- 110-IME and 110-IM original early version of the input modules with variable gain pot and pad push button switch rather than rotary gain switch.
