Way to mark threads to not show updates?

Mostly everything here is incredibly enlightening, but some threads I have no interest in.
Is there a way to mark a thread so that it never shows in the list of unread posts (http://www.groupdiy.com/index.php?action=unread)?

That would be AWESOME....

I get constant updates from a white market thread and my only interest in the thread was years ago to say "please send my stuff"

Updates meaning emails? You can unnotify a thread using the Unnotify button just above the first post in the thread.
