I am still waiting for replacement male and female cord ends so I can wire my freezing temp cutoff in series with my sump pump, neatly.

I just performed an impromptu test, putting the thermal cut-out in the freezer... it works as expected.

Once I get this installed my sump pump should be fully automatic.

I finally had wet and cold enough weather to confirm that my low temperature sump pump cut off, is cutting off.

The outdoor thermometer says 38'F which is well above freezing, but power meter indicates that even the controller is not drawing any current.

One less thing to worry about during winter cold snaps.

[update- I am seeing some interaction with heat pump located near thermal cut out so in cold weather the heat pump is dumping cold air on top of it. It gets morning sunlight but yesterday ran briefly then thermalled off again. This is still functional just not as precise as hoped. If it's off its ok to be biased toward safety (off). /update]
