what is the name of this connector?

assisting a studio in a console referb  and looking to make a test jig.
The casette/channels are all on this kind of connector, never seen one until now.

I think that is a McMurdo manufactured connector. Something like this.....

It is a McMurdo.

Farnell in the UK have them, but note that the Farnell part is from the RED RANGE, so check the data sheet to confirm mechanical compatibility with your blue connector. This is the link:

A-rage from trident.    my clients studio has one. their board needs work. not a big issue but  their old tech would fix and then just pop in modules not knowing if he fixed it or not.  It was trial and error which took up time. I would prefer a test jig or making an extender set to test and fix.

Thank you for the info on the desk  you are working on . Interesting  .
Throughout most of last year (and a good deal of this year) my time has been occupied with Sound Techniques, both old and new. Some of the old ST modules used the blue McMurdo conns. Unfortunately I don't have any spares, if I had I would already have have offered.

Hard to be sure from the photo, but looks much like Amphenol Blue Ribbon connectors used on RCA, etc. in the states.

My A Range modules use McMurdo Red Range connectors and other than the color, they look just like that.

Almost all the mid-'60's and later RCA audio uses those Amphenol Blue Ribbon connectors.  I'm sure the design was licensed elsewhere.
