Hi Folks!

I'm looking for a connector for my Bruel&Kjaer Type 2033 Spectrum Analyzer. All I've found is one eBay auction with picture attached. At eBay it was called "J-Plug" but googling that results fishing things... So does anyone know what is this plug really called?

Cheers,
Paavo

It's 4mm indeed but it's shielded and the old B&K connector for unbalanced connection. today you would have BNC for this, as per your adapter. I might have one or two surplus, will check tomorrow.

- cheers,

Michael

I have a few of those connectors, but not with BNC attached, you would have to solder a test lead to it, interested? send me a PM if so.

cheers,

michael

..it just might be more or less the same as antenna-connectors for older car radios:

..although I'm not absolutely sure..

not the same by far... but nice try anyway ;-) the B&K is a precision HF connector with additional ground attachment wire for high end (60ies, 70ies...) test gear. wrong diameter and totally different make. metal housing probably to the stringenst tolerances and with nice dielectric and thought out construction, not a piece of bent steel.

Just in case anyone should search for these later, Helmut Singer in Germany has these in several variations (under Bruel&Kjaer spares)
