What made you appreciate today?

Over on one of the truck forums I frequent, there is a thread titled the same as this. I'm borrowing it but don't think they'd mind...
I'll start.....
I get aggravated living in an HOA sometimes....
The other day my neighbor and I were out back around one of the retention ponds waiting for the SpaceX rocket to launch. It's just a small pond. There are three of them together but there are miles and miles of conservation surrounding them. We were hanging out looking at 3 alligators checking us out when a deer popped out and started nibbling on grass or whatever. There are all kinds of wild life out here. The usual and some coyote, bobcat,bald eagle, big woodpeckers...
My neighbor turns to me and says
"gators, deer, wildlife....rockets.....you could charge admission"..lol

It made me realize I take stuff for granted too much sometimes..... I think there were over 70 SpaceX launches this year but every one is really something...

I woke up this morning and everything more or less works - eyes with specs, ears with hearing aids, one swollen foot and neck ache. Can't get to see a doctor for nearly three weeks but other than that everything is hunky dory. The main thing is the old brain still fires on most cylinders.

I had my cup of tea and toasted muffins with blueberry jam in the morning and was set for the rest of the day. It is now nearly 7:00PM and still the case.
