I stole this picture from mnats page (sorry!)

The white thing. Does mouser have this type of thing for 3, 4, 5, etc wires?

I get the vertical mount versions instead of the right angle like that pic. But Molex is page 846/847 in my Aug-Oct. 2004 Mouser catalog. Molex K.K. series headers.

A search for Molex gives me 5000 results at Mouser

Do you have a part number that you like? I'm looking thru my catalog right now at them to see what looks good...

Joel

For my Green pre I used:

Molex 3pin
538-22-23-2031

For 4 and 5 pin, change the next to last number. So 2041 and 2051.

You'll also need the connectors (terminal housing) which are:

538-22-01-20x7 (where x is the number of pins, as above)

Ans of course, the crimp terminals that go in the connectors.

Make sure whether you need pins witn .1" spacing or .156" spacing. The Green is .1".

so basically, these parts (mouser)

08-50-0114 Crimp Terminals x6
22-23-2031 PCB Headers x2
22-01-2037 Crimp Terminal Housings x2

I have no idea what the hell I just ordered??!!?
but I suppose I'll see how it all fits together when the order arrives...

It's only $1.66 in parts so I'll take my chances.

Thanks for the part numbers Daniel,

Kato

and then the "right angle" ones like mnats uses would be this part number:

538-22-05-3031

any real advantage to going with the 'gold plated' ones rather than the 'tin plated?' Is that just too much for DIY??
