Hopefully this isn't too basic.
In addition to other outboard gear, I have a bunch of 500 series stuff normalled via patchbay into my UAD apollos. If I turn on the 500 series stuff first and then the apollos, then the 500 series stuff receives a short power thump. If I do the reverse, the Apollos get a small power thump. Which is better to thump? I always to the monitors last, and then power off in reverse, but I'm never sure which is better to thump, the apollos or the 500 series stuff. What do ya'll do? Am I just over worrying?
