Why don't you send it to be rewinded?
Might be much easier and cheaper than trying to get a replacement in 2022

Thanks, It's my understanding that a rewind would be significantly more expensive than say a new edcor.
If Edcor has a transformer with the same specs that can be used to replace the original one that’s great.
I don’t know how it’s there but here I can get a transformer rewinded for 35€

I would love to know about a $40 rewinding service in the u.s. but I don't think it exists. It sounds like mercury magnetics charges well over $100. I went with an Edcor.
