Howdy.  Does anyone know the proper way to solder a Y cable?    one end is a TRS and the other end has a pair of XLRs, one left channel one right channel.    I came up with the following diagram.  Is that right?  the GND and negative sides are connected for the XLR ends, and then the Positive of the TRS goes to one Xlr's + side, and the Negative of the TRS goes to the + of the other XLR.

I guess you are going to connect one stereo signal at TRS to 2 mono at XLR, if so, you are in the right way.
