Yamaha CS70m circuits

Hi everyone,

Ive just bought a dead Yamaha CS70m (a monster 6 voice polysynth from the early 80s) and Im looking for a service manual, or any circuits that anyone might have. Any advice on where to get them would be greatly appreciated.

I think (at least Im hoping) the faults are confined to the power supply, which doesnt seem to be giving the rails that it should be.

Mark Glinsky has the service manual over at Manual Manor. He has good prices and pretty much just charges for the copying fee and shipping. Or if you have a manual he does not have he wil trade. He will have pretty much anything you will need when it comes to synths.

I just got it going

Theres still one or two faults and I think the magnetic strip reader is beyond hope, but its mostly there.

Man it soudns great :grin:
