Flat K47 only has 3 wires, the C12 capsule wiring only needs 3 wires.

I'll never comprehend how and why the 251 uses so overly convoluted pattern switching, considering it's (also) a 120v tube circuit.

Thanks Khron. This gives me options, and a decision to make. I have a BN M7 too. (D47 build..waiting on body, moby tx)
 
You might want to skip that plate-to-ground capacitor, if you're not using a CK12, though.
 
How much duller would you want to make a flat K47 or an M7? CK12's have a rise in the high frequencies, which that capacitor tones down a touch.
 
I think it's the cathode bypass cap, C3 in Dany's schematic. I'll bring it over to that thread. Thanks Khron. You've given me hope. D12 gets the Flat 47.
